Key Account Manager - Retail (FMCG)

About the role

Unitra Mets Group, a Red Bull distributor active across the Middle East, Africa and Asia, is looking for a Key Account Manager for modern trade retail. The role manages assigned retail accounts, drives sales growth and works closely with internal teams on promotions, new launches and joint business plans.

Key responsibilities

• Cultivate long-term relationships with key decision-makers at modern trade retailers
• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue targets, grow market share and increase product visibility
• Negotiate trade terms, promotional support and joint business plans with retail partners
• Plan and run promotions, in-store visibility programs and other marketing initiatives
• Track sales performance, analyse market trends and identify improvements or new opportunities
• Work with trade marketing, marketing, supply chain and finance teams
• Support new product launches with market insights, promotion coordination and availability checks
• Manage assigned accounts, including P&L responsibility and compliance with company policies

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field (MBA preferred)
• At least 5 years of experience in key account management, preferably in FMCG or consumer goods
• Proven track record managing large modern trade accounts and delivering strong sales growth
• Experience in food and beverage distribution or a related industry is often preferred
• Arabic speaking is a plus

Required skills

• Strong sales, negotiation and relationship-building skills
• Ability to analyse sales data and market trends
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of ERP/CRM tools is a plus
