Key Quality Operator – MCB (PCBA)

About the role

Eaton is looking for a Key Quality Operator – MCB to ensure the quality and compliance of PCBA products throughout the production process at its new sustainable campus in Dubai. The role involves in‑line inspections, process validation and leading quality assurance activities to maintain high standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and lead quality inspectors during testing activities.
• Perform in‑line and final inspections of PCBA units for defects, alignment, solder quality and component placement.
• Verify compliance with IPC standards and customer specifications.
• Monitor process parameters, identify deviations and assess risks to product quality.
• Lead root‑cause analysis and drive corrective actions for quality issues.
• Document inspection results, maintain traceability records and support audits.
• Coordinate with production, engineering and quality teams to resolve issues.
• Train production staff on quality standards, inspection techniques and ESD safety.
• Maintain a clean, organized and ESD‑safe inspection area.
• Promote continuous improvement in quality assurance processes and product reliability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering, Quality Management or a related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in PCBA or electronics components manufacturing quality control.
• Proven ability to supervise inspection teams and work independently.

Required skills

• Practical experience with IPC‑A‑610 inspection criteria.
• Use of microscopes, AOI systems, inspection instruments and measurement tools.
• Knowledge of ESD safety procedures and defect classification.
• Familiarity with quality management systems and documentation practices.
