Kitchen & Laundry Technician (Resort)

About the role

The Kitchen & Laundry Technician ensures that all food‑preparation and laundry equipment operates safely and efficiently at Radisson Resort Al Marjan Island, supporting the hospitality experience for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain and repair commercial kitchen equipment such as cooking ranges, ovens, steamers, fryers, walk‑in chillers, freezers, dishwashers and food‑preparation machines.
• Maintain laundry machinery including industrial washers, dryers, flatwork ironers, steam boilers and pressing equipment.
• Diagnose electrical, gas and mechanical issues, conduct preventive maintenance programmes and monitor steam pressure and temperature systems.
• Coordinate with the Executive Chef and Housekeeping Manager to ensure minimal downtime of operational equipment while adhering to hotel safety and fire‑prevention policies.

Required profile

• Technical diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Refrigeration Engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience in a hotel, resort or industrial facility.
• Knowledge of gas systems, steam systems and electrical wiring.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities and basic understanding of safety and HACCP standards.
