Kitchen Steward – Employee Canteen

About the role

Join the back‑of‑house team at InterContinental Ras Al Khaimah Mina Al Arab Resort & Spa as a Kitchen Steward for the Employee Canteen. You will ensure the kitchen, equipment and storage areas are clean, safe and ready for daily operations, supporting the culinary team during busy periods.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise kitchen equipment, utensils and work surfaces.
• Maintain hygiene standards in the Employee Restaurant kitchen and surrounding areas.
• Prepare, store and organise kitchen equipment for daily use.
• Assist with receiving, handling and storing supplies.
• Handle waste and linen safely and correctly.
• Follow health, safety and hygiene procedures at all times.
• Support the culinary team during peak meal times.
• Report any equipment damage or safety concerns.

Required profile

• Primary or high‑school education, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Ability to lift, push or pull objects up to 50 lb (23 kg) and perform regular bending.
• Physical stamina for a fast‑paced kitchen environment.
