Kitchen Technician

About the role

As a Kitchen Technician you will support hotel facility maintenance, ensuring the physical functionality and safety of guest rooms, public spaces and back‑of‑house areas. You will respond quickly to guest calls and internal work orders, helping keep the property operating smoothly. You will work closely with the wider maintenance team to deliver a safe and comfortable environment for guests and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Support overall hotel facility maintenance and safety across guest rooms, public areas and heart‑of‑house zones, performing routine checks and repairs.
• Respond to service requests promptly, handling guest calls and internal work orders to minimise downtime.
• Carry out a variety of repairs, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC and masonry tasks, ensuring work meets Hilton standards.
• Assist with preventive maintenance inspections, identifying potential issues before they become problems.
• Document inspections, repairs and maintenance activities accurately, flagging any items that require further attention.
• Maintain records of all maintenance work and collaborate with other departments to coordinate larger projects.
