Landscape Draftsman

About the role

Arada is seeking a Landscape Draftsman to prepare, develop and maintain accurate landscape drawings and technical documentation for its projects in Sharjah. The role involves translating design concepts and engineering requirements into clear, constructible drawings and supporting the project team through construction to handover.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed landscape shop, construction, working and as‑built drawings covering hardscape, softscape, irrigation, drainage, site furniture and related external works.
• Coordinate landscape drawings with architectural, civil, structural, MEP and irrigation disciplines and incorporate site conditions, design changes and consultant comments.
• Maintain drawing registers, revision records and document control, ensuring timely issuance of construction documentation.
• Support the site team with technical drawing clarifications, review progress against drawings and provide updated as‑built packages for handover.

Required profile

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Landscape Architecture, Architectural Drafting or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience preparing landscape shop drawings, construction drawings and as‑built documentation, preferably with a developer or landscape contracting firm.
• Proven ability to work under project schedules and deliver accurate drawings within strict deadlines.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (essential).
• Working knowledge of Revit, Civil 3D, SketchUp or Adobe Creative Suite (advantageous).
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, landscape, civil, structural and MEP drawings.
• Understanding of landscape design principles, construction detailing and drawing standards.
