Laundry Attendant – Hotel Linen Services

About the role

As a Laundry Attendant at Fairmont Ajman, you will play a key part in maintaining the hotel’s high linen standards and supporting a memorable guest experience. You will handle the movement of hotel linens, guest laundry, and staff uniforms, ensuring timely and accurate processing.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, count, and dispatch soiled linen, towels, and uniforms to the outsourced laundry service.
• Receive, inspect, and record clean linen deliveries, verifying quantity and quality.
• Distribute clean linen and uniforms to departments and maintain proper stock levels.
• Manage the uniform room, issuing and receiving uniforms with proper labeling and records.
• Handle guest laundry and dry‑cleaning services, from collection to delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of linen movements, laundry transactions, and uniform inventories.
• Coordinate with the outsourced laundry provider to resolve discrepancies or quality issues.

Required profile

• Previous experience in hotel laundry or housekeeping operations preferred.
• Basic knowledge of laundry processes and fabric care.
• Strong organizational and record‑keeping abilities.
• Physically fit, able to lift and move heavy linen trolleys.
• Reliable, punctual, and service‑oriented with flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
