Laundry Attendant

About the role

The Laundry Attendant supports the laundry production and dry‑cleaning areas of the hotel’s laundry department. Working on site at the St. Regis Abu Dhabi, you will ensure guest laundry and uniform items are processed efficiently and to the highest standards of quality.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, log and tag guest laundry using the tagging machine.
• Operate the Micros system (if applicable) to record laundry transactions.
• Issue cleaned laundry to butlers and store items in the correct locations.
• Sort, fold and store dried linens, separating them by type.
• Handle torn or stained linens, soak contaminated articles and run de‑staining cycles.
• Conduct weekly inventory checks and verify quantities against laundry requisitions.
• Report any damage or missing items to the supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area, including cleaning lint traps and sweeping the floor.

Required profile

• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
• Physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks and lift laundry loads.
• Attention to detail for accurate logging and sorting.
