Laundry Attendant

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Laundry Attendant to join the opening team of Radisson Hotel Fujairah. In this role you will support the Housekeeping department by ensuring hotel linen, towels, uniforms and guest laundry are cleaned, cared for and presented to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, press and fold hotel linen, towels, uniforms and guest laundry according to established procedures.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and correctly, following manufacturer and hotel guidelines.
• Handle all linen and garments carefully to maintain quality and extend lifespan.
• Manage the correct use and storage of laundry chemicals and supplies.
• Report equipment faults, maintenance issues and damaged items promptly.
• Follow health, safety, hygiene and chemical‑handling procedures at all times.
• Collaborate closely with the Housekeeping team to meet linen and uniform requirements efficiently.
• Assist with additional departmental duties as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a hotel or commercial laundry environment is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of laundry operations, equipment and garment care.
• Ability to work efficiently in a physically demanding environment.
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Pre‑opening hotel experience is an advantage but not essential.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of laundry equipment operation.
• Understanding of chemical handling and safety procedures.
