About the role

The Laundry Attendant ensures hotel linens and garments are cleaned, inspected, and prepared for guest use, maintaining high standards of hygiene and presentation.

Key responsibilities

Operate and monitor washing, dry‑cleaning, and drying machinery, adding chemicals and cleaning lint traps.
Identify stained or damaged items and decide on repair, spot‑treatment, rewash, or discard.
Inspect cleaned articles, place them in clean linen carts, and fold them by hand or using folding machines.
Set dryer times and temperatures according to fabric types and remove lint, debris, and filter residues after each load.
Maintain accurate records of laundered items and follow all safety, security, and company policies.
Report accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions to the manager and complete required safety training.

Required profile

No high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
No prior related work experience required.
No supervisory experience required.
