Laundry Manager

About the role

The Laundry Manager oversees daily laundry operations for guest rooms and the Food & Beverage department at Le Royal Meridien Abu Dhabi. The role ensures a safe, clean work environment, high guest satisfaction, and strong financial performance of the department.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day laundry operations, including washing, drying, ironing, and guest laundry services within set time constraints.
• Supervise and develop a team of 15‑20 associates, monitoring productivity, quality, accuracy and turnover.
• Maintain equipment longevity through regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and coordination with the Engineering department.
• Control departmental budgets, monitor expenses, order supplies and uniforms, and drive profitability.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, hotel policies, and local regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum 2‑3 years of experience managing high‑volume laundry operations in a 5‑star hotel.
• Proven business acumen with a track record of improving profitability and managing departmental budgets.
• Ability to lead and motivate a large team while maintaining high standards of service and safety.
• Professional certification in laundry management, textile technology, or a related field is preferred.
