Laundry Valet

About the role

The Laundry Valet ensures that all guest and hotel laundry is processed quickly, efficiently and in line with the hotel’s standard operating procedures. This onsite position supports the hospitality experience at Anantara Mina Al Arab Ras Al Khaimah Resort.

Key responsibilities

• Collect laundry from guest rooms and separate items for washing, dry‑cleaning or pressing.
• Operate laundry machines according to weight limits and manufacturer instructions.
• Sort linen by use and colour, apply appropriate fabric‑care methods, and handle stain removal.
• Maintain safe storage and handling of chemicals, following safety guidelines.
• Inspect processed laundry before delivery, respecting “Do Not Disturb” requests.
• Deliver clean laundry to rooms and provide billing details to the cashiering department.
• Assist colleagues with assignments and undertake any additional hotel duties or special projects as required.

Required profile

• Knowledge of hotel laundry procedures and garment care.
• Basic understanding of fabric types, stain removal techniques, and laundry chemicals.
