Lead Engineer - ML QA

About the role

As a QA Lead at Inception, you will be responsible for defining and overseeing the quality assurance strategy for complex financial‑domain applications. You will lead both manual and automated testing practices, ensuring that all AI‑enabled and enterprise platforms adhere to stringent quality, reliability, and compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead QA teams responsible for manual and automated testing across financial applications and AI‑driven platforms.
• Define test strategies, governance frameworks, and quality standards aligned with business and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee test planning, test‑case design, automation development, and regression execution.
• Implement automation frameworks supporting UI, API, and data validation.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and architecture teams to ensure testability throughout the SDLC.
• Integrate continuous testing practices within CI/CD pipelines.
• Track quality metrics, defect patterns, and coverage statistics to ensure delivery readiness.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, security requirements, and audit standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of QA experience with proven leadership in financial or enterprise environments.
• Strong background in manual and automated testing methodologies.
• Experience developing automation frameworks and validating regulated financial workflows.
• Familiarity with agile delivery processes and CI/CD tooling.
