Lead Engineer – Pipeline

About the role

Penspen is seeking a Lead Engineer – Pipeline to drive the design, engineering, and construction support for pipeline systems on EPC projects in Abu Dhabi. The role ensures all pipeline work complies with international standards and project specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and engineering of pipeline systems for large‑scale oil and gas projects.
• Provide construction support and technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with ASME, API, and DNV standards and local GCC regulations.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Manage technical documentation, drawings, and quality assurance activities.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Mechanical or a related discipline from a recognized university.
• Minimum 18 years of experience, with at least 10 years on MEGA oil and gas processing projects.
• Strong knowledge of international pipeline standards (ASME, API, DNV).
• Mandatory GCC experience; ADNOC experience is an advantage.
