Lead Engineer - Telecom

About the role

Rejlers International Engineering Solutions is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to head telecom engineering activities for refinery and on‑shore/off‑shore oil & gas projects in Abu Dhabi. The role reports to the Head of Discipline – Electrical and will drive design, costing and delivery of complex telecom systems.

Key responsibilities

• Lead engineering design, FEED and detailed engineering for telecom solutions.
• Prepare deliverable lists, man‑hour estimates and cost proposals.
• Develop and verify source data, concept drawings and design documentation.
• Coordinate with procurement to obtain vendor inputs and manage design subcontractors.
• Oversee FAT, SAT, commissioning, pre‑commissioning and as‑built documentation.
• Ensure client approvals, resolve technical queries and maintain client coordination.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in refinery and oil & gas projects, both on‑shore and off‑shore.
• Proven background in telecom and IT systems within the oil & gas sector.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and interface with clients and vendors.
