Lead Expediting Engineer – PMC (Gas CAP)

About the role

The Lead Expediting Engineer will head procurement activities within the PMC team for ADNOC projects, ensuring compliance with standards, timelines, budgets and contractual requirements. The role drives strategic sourcing, vendor selection and coordination among ADNOC, EPC contractors and suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the project expediting team and activities.
• Monitor purchase orders from award through final delivery, focusing on critical and long‑lead items.
• Track supplier progress against manufacturing and delivery schedules, conducting regular vendor follow‑up meetings.
• Escalate schedule slippages, implement recovery plans and drive supplier accountability.
• Coordinate factory visits, shop‑floor assessments and ensure timely QA/QC inspections.
• Verify documentation submission, material certificates and test reports to avoid shipment delays.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business or related field.
• 15+ years of oil & gas experience with at least 5 years in an expeditor role.
• Strong knowledge of ADNOC procurement systems (SAP, ARIBA preferred).
• Experience with ICV compliance, risk assessment and supply chain management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
