Lead IT Infrastructure & Security

About the role

This role is responsible for overseeing IT infrastructure, networks, cloud platforms and cybersecurity controls, ensuring high levels of system availability, security and operational performance. Our client is a well‑established organisation operating in a dynamic, growth‑focused environment that invests in technology to support long‑term strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation and continuous improvement of enterprise IT infrastructure, networks and cloud environments.
• Develop and maintain cybersecurity governance, incident response processes, vulnerability management programmes and disaster recovery capabilities.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies and industry best practices while proactively managing technology risk.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and provide strategic recommendations to enhance operational efficiency, security and scalability.
• Manage vendor relationships, monitor service delivery and contribute to budgeting, reporting and performance optimisation initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• 7‑10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity or related technology leadership roles.
• Strong expertise across networks, servers, cloud platforms, infrastructure operations and security technologies.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, ITIL and/or Microsoft Azure certification are highly desirable.
• Demonstrated project delivery, stakeholder management, leadership and problem‑solving capabilities.
