Lead Onshore Commissioning – Process & Utility

About the role

Penspen is urgently looking to hire a Lead Onshore Commissioning (Process & Utility) for one of its offshore PMC projects in Abu Dhabi.

Key responsibilities

• Lead commissioning activities at the onshore fabrication yard, integration yard, temporary facilities, or onshore receiving/processing facilities before offshore deployment or start‑up.
• Plan, coordinate and execute pre‑commissioning, commissioning and start‑up activities for process and utility systems at the onshore facility/integration yard.
• Ensure systems are mechanically complete, safely tested, commissioned and handed over in line with schedule, procedures, engineering specifications, HSE requirements and client/operator standards.
• Act as the primary interface between Engineering, Construction, HUP/Offshore Commissioning, QA/QC, Operations, vendors, subcontractors and client representatives.
• Guarantee that commissioning activities are performed safely, efficiently and according to approved procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (relevant discipline) from an accredited university.
• Minimum 15 + years of experience, including at least 5‑8 + years in offshore projects.
• Proven experience in process and utility commissioning within offshore projects.
• Preferred background in PMC/EPC; previous ADNOC offshore experience is an advantage.
