Lead Onshore Commissioning (Process & Utility)

About the role

Penspen is seeking an experienced Lead for Onshore Commissioning of process and utility systems to support an offshore PMC project in Abu Dhabi. The role involves overseeing commissioning activities at onshore yards and facilities before offshore deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead commissioning activities at onshore fabrication, integration yards, temporary facilities, and receiving/processing sites.
• Plan, coordinate and execute pre‑commissioning, commissioning and start‑up for process and utility systems, ensuring mechanical completeness, safety testing and hand‑over.
• Act as primary interface between engineering, construction, offshore commissioning, QA/QC, operations, vendors, subcontractors and client representatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (relevant discipline) from an accredited university.
• Minimum 15 years of experience, including 5‑8 years in offshore projects.
• Proven experience in process and utility commissioning within offshore projects; PMC/EPC background preferred.
