Lead Planning Engineer

About the role

The Lead Planning Engineer will develop and maintain project work programmes, ensuring timely delivery within budget. You will collaborate with clients, suppliers and contractors to monitor progress and provide accurate forecasts.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare tender, clause‑14 and resource histogram programmes and review them with the Planning Manager.
• Coordinate information flow among stakeholders to align deliverables with the master schedule.
• Support the project management team by recording progress, adjusting forecasts and generating variation reports.
• Produce consolidated cash‑flow forecasts, progress S‑curves, look‑ahead schedules, dashboards and manpower projections.
• Manage claim processes, issue delay notifications, conduct EOT analysis and submit interim and final claims.
• Identify and communicate critical risks, issues and opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in interior fit‑out or main contracting environments.
• Strong client‑facing and presentation abilities.
• Proven track record on hospitality, hotel and similar projects.
• Excellent communication and ability to work in a multicultural setting.
