Lead Project Control - Onshore Site (MEGA EPC)

About the role

KBR is looking for a Lead Project Control professional with experience in MEGA EPC projects to join its PMC project team based in Abu Dhabi. The role supervises and supports project management from concept through commissioning and handover, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget and in line with ADNOC standards and international best practice.

Key responsibilities

• Project planning and scheduling: develop and maintain project schedules in Primavera P6, MS Project or similar tools, monitor progress against baselines, analyse variances and support recovery and mitigation plans.
• Cost control and budget management: track budgets, commitments, expenditures and forecasts, prepare cost reports, cash flow forecasts and earned value analyses, and assist with change orders and variation claims.
• Monitoring and reporting: prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, generate KPIs and dashboards, and report risks, delays and issues promptly.
• Risk and resource management: maintain risk registers, support mitigation planning, and analyse manpower, equipment and material needs.
• Stakeholder coordination: work with project managers, engineers, contractors and clients, and take part in project review meetings.
• Documentation and compliance: keep project control records and ensure compliance with policies, procedures and contracts, supporting audits and reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• 17 years of experience in project controls, planning, scheduling or cost control.
• Experience in construction, oil & gas, energy, infrastructure, engineering or industrial projects preferred.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, PMI-SP or CCP are advantageous.
