Lead Project Engineer – Electrical & Instrumentation

About the role

The Lead Project Engineer (E&I) will oversee all electrical and instrumentation activities for the project, reporting to the Project Management Team and the Engineering, Installation & Delivery (EID) department. The role ensures that design, procurement, construction, and offshore installation are executed safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate E&I work with project management, subcontractors, procurement, engineering, QAS, planning, and offshore teams.
• Execute the project through all phases—planning, construction, and offshore—following company QAS procedures and HSE standards.
• Prepare and review construction schedules, subcontractor scopes, installation procedures, and inspection & test plans.
• Draft and manage correspondence on E&I issues, obtain client approvals, and review vendor documents.
• Monitor equipment receipt, conduct inspections with QC, and supervise site progress.
• Assist in tender preparation, cost control, variation proposals, and invoice verification.
• Support final documentation, close‑out reports, as‑built submissions, and lessons learned.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leading E&I engineering on large‑scale energy or offshore projects.
• Strong understanding of project management, construction scheduling, and contract administration.
• Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and manage subcontractor performance.
• Excellent knowledge of HSE requirements and quality assurance processes.
