Lead Project Engineer

About the role

Worley Parsons is seeking a Lead Project Engineer to oversee the PMC Engineering group during the Engineering and Procurement phases of offshore upstream projects. The role combines technical leadership with day‑to‑day management of multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day work allocation and supervision of the PMC Engineering group.
• Ensure engineering personnel are competent and aligned with the PMC contract scope.
• Lead development and implementation of engineering processes, procedures and systems.
• Coordinate technical reviews, vendor document processing and obtain owner approvals for designs.
• Interface with Piping, Mechanical, Structural and E&I disciplines and support contractor interactions.
• Participate in design reviews, constructability analysis and risk mitigation.
• Conduct succession planning and competence assessments within the engineering team.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing PMC engineering groups on offshore upstream projects.
• Strong leadership and supervision skills.
• Ability to develop and enforce engineering procedures and standards.
• Experience in coordinating multidisciplinary engineering disciplines.
