Lead SAP FICO – SAP S/4HANA Finance Lead

About the role

The Lead SAP FICO will own the design, implementation and optimisation of SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions for Emirates Steel Industries. This senior position requires deep financial process knowledge, strong SAP technical expertise and the ability to guide cross‑functional teams and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end solution design and architecture for SAP S/4HANA Finance modules (GL, AP, AR, AA, CO, Cash Management, Treasury, Group Reporting, Funds Management).
• Oversee configuration, data migration and integration with other SAP modules (SD, MM, PP) and external systems.
• Manage project teams, develop detailed plans, conduct workshops and act as primary liaison between business, IT and vendors.
• Identify process improvement opportunities, provide expert support for complex issues and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Develop test plans, documentation and training materials for end‑users and support teams.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant or Master’s degree in Finance.
• Minimum 8 years SAP FI/CO experience, including 3‑5 years with S/4HANA Finance and at least one full lifecycle S/4HANA implementation.
• Proven leadership or architect experience in SAP finance projects.
• Fluent in English; Arabic preferred.
