Lead Services Customer Operations Specialist

About the role

The Lead Services Customer Operations Specialist drives sustained customer success and growth across controls retrofit projects and post‑sales lifecycle management. Working closely with Senior Service Managers, the role oversees services projects, technical support agreements, training, professional services, and customer advocacy for the Middle East, Africa and South Asia region.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the single point of contact for customers, managing all communications and relationships in the assigned sub‑region.
• Own the P&L, customer order fulfillment, and revenue performance, identifying growth opportunities.
• Develop and own site‑level communication plans and propose change orders that add value.
• Lead the creation of service proposals, including labor estimates, schedules, subcontractor scope, tooling, logistics and risk assessments.
• Provide project delivery planning, risk mitigation, and contingency strategies to ensure successful execution.
• Coach and lead multi‑disciplinary, multicultural teams of GEV personnel, contractors and subcontractors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 8 years of experience with GEV control product systems (Mark VI, Mark VIe, EX2100/EX2100e) or similar.
• Strong proficiency with MS Office suite and SAP.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to travel 30‑40% internationally.
• Demonstrated leadership, problem‑solving and program management abilities.
