Learning and Development Intern - Human Capital

About the role

Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab, a luxury lifestyle destination in Dubai, is looking for a Learning and Development intern within its Human Capital team. The intern supports the Learning and Development Manager in delivering training and development activities for colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Follow the Train and Develop colleague process standards in planning, coordinating, delivering and evaluating training and development activities.
• Manage the L&D library and Pdrive.
• Support the Learning and Development Manager in helping Madinat Jumeirah meet group and business unit training targets and objectives.
• Deliver the Madinat Jumeirah Welcome Program and bespoke training as required by the business.
• Update notice boards and plasma screens.

Required profile

• College graduate, preferably with a post-secondary certificate.
• Train the Trainer certification or equivalent.
• Competent and experienced in delivering front-line colleague courses (D & E grade colleagues).
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Native-level language in the country of operation, for example Arabic in the UAE.

Required skills

• Intermediate level Microsoft Office applications.
• Previous use of learning management software systems.
• Professional certifications as required.
