Learning & Development Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Learning & Development Manager to design and deliver impactful learning experiences that boost people capability, leadership excellence and service culture across Apparel Group’s retail network in the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an enterprise learning strategy, establishing structured academies with curriculum architecture, certification pathways and quality standards.
• Design and maintain capability frameworks and a skills taxonomy to support role clarity, workforce planning and personalized learning pathways.
• Oversee blended learning delivery for frontline, corporate and leadership audiences, ensuring content aligns with premium service behaviours and brand storytelling.
• Implement evaluation frameworks to measure learning effectiveness, capability uplift and business impact, and continuously refine programs based on analytics.
• Champion a culture of continuous learning, advising senior leaders on capability gaps and supporting talent development initiatives such as high‑potential programs and succession planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, L&D, Business Administration, Psychology or related field.
• 7‑10 years of L&D or Talent Development experience, with at least 7 years in retail, preferably fashion or luxury.
• Proven track record designing, delivering and managing learning programs for frontline, corporate and leadership groups.
• Experience working in the UAE or Middle East and ability to operate in a multicultural environment.
