Learning & Development Specialist – Retail & Fashion

About the role

The Learning & Development Specialist will design, coordinate and deliver training solutions for stores across the region, ensuring alignment with the Learning Service Level Agreement (SLA) and business priorities. Working closely with store managers, HR business partners and subject‑matter experts, the role balances strategic planning with hands‑on execution to build a strong learning culture.

Key responsibilities

• Translate business and training needs into annual and monthly learning plans that meet regional priorities and SLA commitments.
• Coordinate end‑to‑end delivery of classroom, virtual, blended and self‑learning programmes, ensuring facilitators and resources are ready.
• Drive learning engagement through campaigns, communication and social‑learning initiatives to achieve high participation and completion rates.
• Monitor learning delivery, certification and compliance via dashboards, providing accurate monthly reporting.
• Maintain an active pool of facilitators and buddies to support ongoing training needs.

Required profile

• Proven experience in learning and development or training coordination, preferably in retail or fashion environments.
• Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to meet tight timelines.
• Excellent stakeholder management, collaborating with store management, HR partners and subject‑matter experts.
• Ability to analyse learning data and produce clear reports.
