Learning Support Assistant (Start August 2026)

About the role

GEMS Winchester Private School Fujairah is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join the school community in August 2026. The role involves providing assistance to teachers and supporting students who need extra help in their learning journey.

Key responsibilities

• Assist teachers with daily classroom activities and learning support tasks.
• Prepare and adapt educational materials for students requiring additional help.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers.
• Support students individually or in small groups to reinforce understanding of core subjects.

Required profile

• Higher Secondary Education (Grade 12) or a Bachelor’s degree.
• Strong knowledge of Mathematics and English.
• Previous experience working with children or in a similar support role.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
• Ability to obtain a UK‑enhanced DBS or equivalent security clearance.
