Legal Advisor

About the role

Aqary Real Estate Investment and Development is seeking a seasoned Legal Advisor to join its in‑house legal team. The role involves providing timely, accurate legal counsel across the organisation and safeguarding the company’s commercial and regulatory interests.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver legal advice to management and internal departments on a wide range of commercial and regulatory matters.
• Draft, review, amend and negotiate employment, service, vendor, partnership, NDA, consultancy, commercial, technology/SaaS and real‑estate agreements.
• Identify and mitigate legal, commercial, financial and operational risks in contracts.
• Ensure all contracts comply with UAE laws, regulations and internal policies.
• Maintain the company’s legal documentation, contract database and monitor key dates such as expiries and renewals.
• Monitor legislative changes and advise on their impact.
• Support corporate governance, licensing, regulatory compliance and dispute resolution.
• Coordinate with external counsel, government authorities and regulatory bodies as needed.

Required profile

• Law degree with a valid licence to practice in the United Arab Emirates.
• Extensive experience in corporate, commercial and real‑estate law.
• Proven ability to negotiate and draft complex agreements.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
