Legal Advisor

About the role

The Legal Advisor will act as a strategic partner to senior leadership, delivering commercially focused legal counsel across corporate, operational and technology‑related matters. This role ensures that business activities are compliant, risks are managed, and commercial transactions are executed smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice to senior stakeholders on commercial, corporate and operational issues.
• Draft, review and negotiate IT services agreements, MSAs, SLAs, licensing agreements and vendor contracts.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and internal governance frameworks.
• Identify, assess and mitigate legal and commercial risks across business activities.
• Manage disputes, claims and litigation, coordinating with external counsel as needed.
• Develop and maintain internal legal policies and procedures.
• Support procurement, sales and delivery teams on contract structuring and negotiation strategy.

Required profile

• Law degree from a recognised and accredited university.
• Minimum 8 + years of experience in legal advisory or in‑house legal roles.
• Strong background in corporate and commercial law, preferably within technology, IT services, holding groups or consulting environments.
• Proven experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts.
• Solid understanding of regulatory compliance and risk‑management frameworks.
