Legal Consultant

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Legal Consultant to support our engineering projects, clients, vendors, and employees. The role involves providing legal guidance, reviewing contracts, and ensuring compliance with UAE laws and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements and other legal documents.
• Ensure compliance with UAE legislation, industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Provide legal advice on business operations, projects and contractual matters.
• Identify, assess and mitigate legal risks.
• Handle legal notices, claims, disputes and coordinate with external counsel when needed.
• Support licensing, regulatory approvals and corporate governance activities.
• Advise on labour law, employment contracts and HR‑related legal issues.
• Maintain legal records, prepare reports, opinions and correspondence.
• Liaise with government authorities, clients, contractors and other stakeholders.
• Monitor legislative changes to keep the company compliant.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent.
• Professional legal qualification or certification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in contract drafting and negotiation.
• Residency in the UAE.
