Legal Counsel

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Legal Counsel to join a well‑established family group in Abu Dhabi. The role provides comprehensive legal support across a diversified portfolio, ensuring compliance with UAE laws while driving commercial and strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day legal advice to senior management and business units.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements across real estate, retail, investment and other sectors.
• Support corporate structuring, company formation, and restructuring activities.
• Monitor regulatory changes, implement group‑wide compliance policies, and liaise with external counsel and authorities.
• Manage disputes and litigation, offering proactive risk‑management advice and handling settlement negotiations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB or equivalent); LLM is an advantage.
• Qualified lawyer with 5–10+ years of legal experience.
• Arabic speaker.
• Experience within a family group, conglomerate or diversified business is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of UAE laws and regulatory environment.
