Legal Counsel – Litigation and Compliance

About the role

Join a fast‑scaling AI‑driven investment platform as a Legal Counsel responsible for litigation, intellectual property, and compliance. You will shape the legal backbone of a multi‑jurisdictional technology and investment business operating across Europe, North America and emerging markets.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the legal, regulatory and compliance strategy for a global AI investment platform.
• Protect patents, data and digital assets; manage IP enforcement, licensing and open‑source governance.
• Oversee complex technology, IP and cyber litigation, coordinate external counsel and develop defence strategies.
• Draft, negotiate and review high‑value SaaS, vendor and partnership agreements.
• Build and maintain frameworks for data privacy, cybersecurity and investment regulation.
• Advise the Board and senior leadership on governance, risk and expansion initiatives.

Required profile

• 10‑15 years post‑qualification experience in litigation, IP/tech law, compliance and commercial contracting.
• U.K. qualified solicitor (barrister considered); dual qualification or exposure to U.S. technology or investment law is a plus.
• Proven track record leading international disputes and cross‑border contracts.
• Experience advising AI‑centric or technology‑driven businesses.
• Strong communication skills with executives, investors and regulators.
• Willingness to be based in or relocate to Dubai, London or Ireland and travel as needed.
