Legal Expert – Remote Contractor

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Legal Expert to work remotely as a contractor. In this role you will apply your legal knowledge to review multimedia content, create challenging questions, and support an expert‑level annotation workflow.

Key responsibilities

• Review images and videos related to legal topics and identify key legal issues.
• Develop complex, thought‑provoking questions that require genuine legal expertise.
• Tag and categorize each task with appropriate legal categories and sub‑categories.
• Collaborate with a community of domain experts by providing original legal questions for peer assessment.
• Analyze peer feedback and question ratings to improve quality and difficulty.
• Maintain strict attention to detail, accuracy, relevance, and ethical standards.
• Contribute to an evolving expert‑level annotation workflow supporting high‑stakes legal decision‑making.

Required profile

• Advanced legal knowledge with a proven track record in practice, analysis, or academia.
• Ability to interpret and evaluate complex legal issues presented visually or through multimedia.
• Experience creating exam‑level or practical case‑study questions in the legal field.
• Keen eye for detail and strong organizational skills.
• Capacity to work independently and meet quality benchmarks in a remote setting.
