Legal Intern – FinTech & Regulatory Practice

About the role

Finjuris Counsel is seeking a motivated Legal Intern to support its international legal and regulatory practice, focusing on FinTech, cryptocurrency, and compliance matters.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct legal and regulatory research across fintech, crypto, and financial services sectors.
• Assist lawyers in preparing legal notes, proposals, regulatory submissions, and client communications.
• Support licensing and compliance assignments, including AML/KYC and financial crime compliance.
• Prepare case law summaries, regulatory updates, and due‑diligence reports.
• Coordinate with internal teams and international associates, maintaining documentation and matter trackers.

Required profile

• Law student (3rd year onward) or recent graduate, preferably with an integrated 5‑year or 3‑year LL.B. program.
• Strong interest in corporate law, FinTech, crypto, regulatory law, compliance, or international business law.
• Excellent legal research, drafting, written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and demonstrate strong analytical approach.
• Knowledge of Indian regulatory frameworks is an advantage.
