Legal Manager

About the role

The Legal Manager will lead the legal function for a leading real‑estate developer in Dubai, ensuring that all business activities comply with local laws and regulations. This role provides strategic legal advice, manages contractual matters, and safeguards the company’s commercial interests.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, agreements, MOUs, NDAs and internal policies.
• Provide day‑to‑day legal counsel to internal stakeholders across business units.
• Ensure compliance with UAE/GCC laws, corporate governance standards and regulatory requirements.
• Identify legal risks, propose mitigation strategies and coordinate with external counsel.
• Handle disputes, claims and legal notices, maintaining accurate documentation.
• Support management on regulatory, compliance and risk‑related matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB or equivalent).
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in‑house or at a law firm.
• Strong background in commercial contracts and corporate legal matters.
• Good knowledge of UAE and GCC legal frameworks.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple matters simultaneously.
