Legal Researcher

About the role

Accord International Advocates and Legal Consultants is a Dubai-based law firm advising clients in commercial, corporate, real estate, civil and criminal matters, as well as local and international arbitration. It is looking for a Legal Researcher to support its advocates and legal consultants with research across UAE and international laws, regulations and case precedents. The role is full-time and on-site in Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze statutes, case law and legal texts
• Prepare research memoranda and briefs
• Assist in drafting and reviewing legal documents for litigation, arbitration and transactional matters
• Organize and maintain research databases
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments relevant to the firm's practice areas
• Summarize findings in clear, well-structured formats for internal use and client matters
• Collaborate with legal teams to prepare for hearings, negotiations and client meetings

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent; an LLM or similar is an advantage
• Strong foundation in law, including commercial, corporate, real estate and dispute resolution frameworks
• Familiarity with UAE laws and procedures; exposure to international legal frameworks is beneficial
• Fluent in English and Arabic
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities and keep a high attention to detail
• Demonstrated professional ethics, discretion and commitment to confidentiality

Required skills

• Advanced research and analytical skills to interpret statutes, case law and legal commentary
• Experience preparing legal documents such as memoranda, pleadings, contracts and correspondence
• Proficiency with legal research tools and databases
• Strong MS Office skills
