Lifeguard – Dubai

About the role

Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts is seeking a dedicated Lifeguard to ensure the safety and enjoyment of guests at its Dubai Marina pool. The role involves vigilant monitoring of swimmers, rapid response to emergencies, and maintaining a welcoming pool environment.

Key responsibilities

• Observe the swimming area, identify unsafe conditions, and intervene when guests are in distress.
• Apply appropriate rescue techniques and provide first‑aid assistance until emergency services arrive.
• Enforce pool rules, promote a safe and fun atmosphere, and assist guests with disabilities.
• Maintain pool cleanliness by folding towels, washing the deck, and performing routine inspections of equipment.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management and complete required safety documentation.
• Uphold company policies, protect confidential information, and present a professional appearance at all times.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior lifeguarding experience required; training will be provided.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, run, and lift objects up to 50 lb unassisted.
• Strong communication skills and a customer‑service mindset.

Required skills

• Current CPR certification.
• Current First Aid certification.
