Lifeguard

About the role

The Lifeguard ensures safe daily operations within the swimming pool areas, providing immediate assistance to guests and maintaining compliance with health, safety, and fire prevention policies.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor pool areas to enforce health, safety and fire prevention policies.
• Provide lifesaving assistance and report serious incidents to the Lifeguard Supervisor or Security Supervisor.
• Maintain pool water quality, temperature and chemical control, reporting any variations to the Recreation Supervisor/Manager and Engineering Department.
• Attend scheduled training classes and conduct lifesaving technique training for staff.
• Follow lost‑and‑found procedures and handle valuables according to protocol.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer‑oriented operations and adhere to quality, security and health‑and‑safety standards.

Required profile

• Valid and approved Lifeguard certification.
• Current CPR, AED and First Aid certifications.
• Strong swimming ability with excellent endurance and speed.
• Previous lifeguard experience preferred, ideally in a hotel, beach, pool or waterpark environment.
