Litigation Manager – Dubai Courts

About the role

DAMAC Group is seeking an experienced Litigation Manager to take full ownership of a diverse caseload of Dubai court proceedings, arbitration matters, and regulatory complaints. This senior position requires hands‑on management from filing through execution, ensuring seamless coordination with external counsel and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end lifecycle of Dubai litigation cases, from filing to judgment and enforcement.
• Coordinate with external law firms, providing clear instructions, tracking documents, and ensuring accountability.
• Monitor the online court portal for hearings, judicial directions, and outcomes.
• Review and draft defense memoranda, court submissions, and other legal documents.
• Negotiate settlements and lead internal investigations related to legal disputes.
• Handle real‑estate and commercial arbitration matters in collaboration with external counsel.
• Attend court hearings, site visits, expert meetings, and other relevant proceedings.

Required profile

• Full professional proficiency in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
• Minimum 6 years of experience as a legal manager with direct ownership of Dubai litigation.
• Hands‑on experience with Dubai court processes, including online portal usage, filing, and execution stages.
• Proven track record of managing external law firms and delivering results.
• Background in real‑estate and commercial litigation.
• LLB or equivalent qualification; UAE bar or DIFC court experience is a plus.

• Effective negotiation and settlement skills.
• Ability to oversee complex arbitration matters.
