About the role
The Locum Clinic Administrator provides comprehensive administrative support to physician clinics at Mediclinic Parkview Hospital. This enables nursing and medical staff to focus on delivering quality clinical care.
Key responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to clinic physicians.
- Handle patient administration in the outpatient setting.
- Maintain sufficient clinical and non‑clinical stock and control.
- Promote patient satisfaction actively.
- Ensure patients' medical insurance information is up‑to‑date and accurate.
Required profile
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Grade 12); Secretarial Diploma preferred.
- At least 1 year of administrative experience in a healthcare setting.
Required skills
- Basic medical terminology.
- Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Knowledge of patient care support procedures, insurance claim processes, and stock control principles.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
