Logistics Coordinator – Direct Imports

About the role

As a Direct Imports Logistics Coordinator you will oversee the end‑to‑end movement of international shipments destined for Amazon fulfillment centres in the United Arab Emirates. The role demands meticulous tracking, stakeholder coordination and a focus on meeting delivery commitments in a high‑velocity environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and track Direct Imports shipments across all legs – origin, port‑to‑port, destination and final‑mile delivery.
• Coordinate daily with freight forwarders, customs brokers, trade compliance teams and fulfillment centres to ensure smooth hand‑offs.
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve shipment issues proactively to minimise delays.
• Maintain and analyse key performance metrics for Direct Imports operations.
• Produce regular reports on critical DI metrics for leadership review.
• Drive process improvements that increase operational efficiency and compliance with international shipping regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (any discipline).
• Minimum of one month experience in the courier or logistics industry.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills.
