About the role
The Logistics Coordinator will support offshore and onshore project operations by ensuring efficient planning, coordination, and movement of materials, equipment, and supplies. This role maintains uninterrupted logistics support while complying with company procedures, project requirements, and HSE standards.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage all logistics activities for offshore and onshore project sites.
- Plan, arrange, and monitor the movement of materials, equipment, and supplies by road, sea, and other transportation modes.
- Prepare loading and off‑loading plans, ensuring safe load distribution and compliance with project and HSE requirements.
- Coordinate vessel schedules, transportation, lifting operations, and site logistics requirements.
- Act as Area Authority for logistics operations, ensuring work areas meet PTW, HSE, and company procedure standards.
- Track and expedite material deliveries to guarantee timely availability at project sites.
- Liaise with project teams, vendors, contractors, transport providers, warehouse personnel, and offshore teams for seamless logistics support.
- Maintain accurate logistics records, cargo manifests, inventories, and transportation reports.
- Resolve logistics issues promptly and provide regular progress updates to project and department management.
- Support warehouse operations, material coordination, inventory control, and equipment tracking.
- Prepare logistics reports, KPI updates, and operational summaries to support project execution.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree (mandatory).
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Logistics Coordinator or in a similar role supporting offshore, onshore, marine, oil & gas, EPC, or construction projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems; Oracle or SAP experience is an advantage.
- Engineering qualification, Appointed Person for Lifting certification, and Area Authority certification are added advantages.
- UAE experience, particularly with Abu Dhabi offshore projects, is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of logistics planning, loading/off‑loading operations, transportation management, vessel logistics, and material coordination.
- Understanding of Permit to Work (PTW), Area Authority responsibilities, offshore safety requirements, HSE standards, and project compliance procedures.
