Logistics Coordinator, Offshore

About the role

DSV is seeking an Offshore Logistics Coordinator to manage the mobilization and demobilization of material handling equipment (MHE) on offshore projects. You will act as the central point of contact between operators, drivers, site supervisors, and internal teams to ensure seamless equipment deployment and compliance with ADNOC standards.

Key responsibilities

• Organise MHE mobilisation and demobilisation, including operator coordination.
• Monitor on‑site deployment schedules to align equipment availability with project needs.
• Collaborate with drivers, site supervisors and transport teams to maintain operational timeliness.
• Maintain detailed records of equipment usage, operational hours and fuel consumption.
• Ensure deployed equipment meets ADNOC certifications and standards.
• Track training, CICPA, PTW and safety certifications for operators and equipment.
• Document daily activity logs, equipment breakdown reports and submit regular operational status reports.
• Adhere to ADNOC HSE policies, report incidents promptly and participate in safety briefings.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Logistics or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in offshore operations.
• Strong organisational, coordination and time‑management abilities.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented team player with the ability to make quick decisions in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Familiarity with cranes, forklifts, telehandlers and trailers.
• Basic understanding of equipment certification and site requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
