About the role
Samsung E&A is seeking a Logistics Engineer to oversee logistics operations for its projects in Abu Dhabi. The role involves supervising logistics activities to ensure departmental goals are met and material delivery timelines are achieved.
Key responsibilities
- Manage logistics procedures for general and project cargo vessels, including breakbulk and project cargo handling.
- Coordinate with logistics forwarders, customs, and government entities to ensure timely delivery of materials to site.
- Oversee vendor production schedules and expedite to guarantee material readiness.
- Handle selection and chartering of breakbulk vessels and manage logistics partners.
Required profile
- 5+ years of experience in logistics, preferably within oil, gas, petrochemical or power plant sectors.
- Significant knowledge of logistics processes and EPC company operations.
- Experience working for engineering and construction companies.
