About the role
The Logistics Executive – Central Logistics supports the internal brand team in managing all inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring customs clearance and timely delivery to warehouses and stores across the region.
Key responsibilities
- Establish contact with suppliers or agents to schedule cargo pick‑up in alignment with the brand team.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders to arrange collection for imports and re‑exports and follow up until goods reach the warehouse or stores.
- Request freight quotes from multiple service providers and prepare comparisons for ad‑hoc shipments.
- Maintain a detailed logistics tracker containing all shipment information.
- Validate customs Bill of Entry (BOE) and freight invoices and forward them to finance for timely payment.
- Process BOE documentation for all inbound and outbound shipments.
- Arrange COO and SASO certifications through service providers.
- Organise customs inspections and ADM bookings.
- Collect delivery orders and original documents from airlines and shipping lines.
