Logistics, Export & Compliance Executive

About the role

Al Majed for Oud, an oud and perfume wholesaler founded in 1956 with more than 300 outlets across the Gulf, is looking for an executive to manage local and international logistics, export operations and regulatory compliance for perfume and fragrance products. The role ensures timely shipments and compliance with international trade and transportation regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate local and international shipments, freight forwarding and customs clearance.
• Manage export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin and shipping permits.
• Work with freight forwarders, customs brokers, suppliers and international customers.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations, international trade requirements and destination-country rules.
• Handle Safety Data Sheets (SDS), dangerous goods declarations and shipping requirements for alcohol-based perfumes where applicable.
• Monitor shipment schedules, freight costs and delivery performance.
• Maintain accurate export records and prepare logistics and compliance reports.

Required profile

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or International Trade.
• 2-5 years of experience in logistics, international exports and compliance, preferably in perfume and fragrance.
• Knowledge of customs clearance, export documentation, Incoterms, HS codes and international shipping regulations.
• Familiarity with IATA and IMDG dangerous goods requirements for perfume shipments.
• Strong organisational, communication and coordination skills.
• English required; Arabic is an advantage.
