Logistics Manager – Recycling & Second‑Hand Goods

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Logistics Manager to lead end‑to‑end supply chain operations for a fast‑growing recycling and second‑hand goods company in Al Hamriyah Free Zone, Sharjah. The role combines commercial acumen with deep GCC logistics expertise, focusing on import/export, customs clearance and cost optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage logistics and supply chain activities across the UAE and GCC region.
• Handle import/export shipments, customs clearance and freight coordination.
• Oversee logistics processes for recycled and second‑hand goods, ensuring timely delivery.
• Optimise logistics costs and improve profitability.
• Coordinate with transporters, shipping lines, suppliers, warehouses and clearing agents.
• Ensure compliance with UAE customs regulations and international shipping standards.
• Monitor inventory movement, track KPIs and implement process improvements.

Required profile

• 7–10 years of logistics/supply‑chain management experience.
• Strong GCC experience, preferably within the UAE.
• Mandatory background in recycling or second‑hand goods (shoes, bags, textiles, etc.).
• Proven expertise in import/export and international freight operations.
• Experience managing logistics costs and profitability.
• Excellent communication in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Strong negotiation, vendor management and leadership abilities.
