Logistics Officer – Dubai

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Logistics Officer to manage daily logistics operations in our Dubai office. The role involves coordinating shipments, handling documentation, and collaborating with suppliers, transport partners and internal teams to ensure a smooth supply chain flow.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate shipments, deliveries, collections and transportation schedules.
• Track cargo movements and ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Prepare and maintain shipping, delivery, customs and logistics documentation.
• Work with freight forwarders, shipping lines, transport companies and customs agents.
• Collaborate with warehouse teams to manage receiving, dispatch and inventory movements.
• Monitor shipment status and proactively address delays, damages or discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, delivery schedules and logistics transactions.
• Update logistics information in ERP, TMS or other tracking systems.
• Communicate shipment updates with suppliers, customers and internal departments.
• Support customs clearance and import/export activities as needed.
• Prepare logistics reports and monitor transportation performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve logistics efficiency and reduce operational delays.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or a related field.
• 2–4+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, shipping or supply chain operations.
• Good understanding of shipment coordination, warehouse operations and delivery processes.
• Familiarity with import/export documentation and customs procedures.
• Strong organizational, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities under deadlines.
• Attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
• Experience in UAE or GCC logistics is an advantage.
